MEET DR. ROPER & HIS STAFF
Rick B. Roper, DPM – Owner/Podiatrist
Dr. Rick Roper moved to Cheyenne in 2013 after practicing podiatry for over 30 years in Albuquerque, NM. He and his wife, Ila, are excited about the more friendly community atmosphere that Cheyenne has to offer. His 30+ years of experience have given him great skills in the diagnosis and treatment of foot problems. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Roper is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Wyoming Board of Podiatry. He has surgical privileges with the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and the High Plains Surgery Center. Dr. Roper specializes in bunion, hammertoe, neuroma, talotarsal joint stabilization, and other forefoot surgeries, along with the conservative and surgical treatment of heel pain.
Dr. Roper and Ila have 7 children and 22 grandchildren (and counting). They love spending time with their family and this move has enabled them to be closer to them. Their children are gifted in playing the piano, violin, harp, bagpipes and singing, as well as composing music. Dr. Roper loves being grandpa by spoiling his grand kids and then leaving the repair work to his children who are now “the parents”.
Lidi – Practice Manager and Surgery Scheduler
Lidi was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY and is now raising her two beautiful little girls, Bailey and Kylee. She has worked in the insurance field for over 16 years. She loves to spend her time with her children and watch them grow. They have a blue heeler named Shadow who is always up to no good. She enjoys camping, fishing, playing soccer, watching football, and attending Colorado Rockie's games. She is also quite a genius at escape rooms!

Ashley - Full Time Receptionist
Ash ley is a Pisces, food lover, avid reader, and self-proclaimed amateur chef. She loves thrifting and crafting. She has two amazing kids and a wonderful fiancé. She likes to say "I just wake up daily to strive to be better than I was yesterday and look for the humor in life." Life is exciting and she believes in all the good the world has to offer. She believes that we only live once so she is here to make sure she does just that! You will be greeted by her lovely smile as you walk into our door so stop by and say "Hi!"
Ila – Part Time Receptionist & Office “Mom”
Ila is not only a part time receptionist in the front office, but is also the wife of Dr. Roper. She was a stay at home Mom to their seven wonderful children for 32 years. Now that the Ropers are empty nesters, she is helping at the office, which keeps her busy. She enjoys music, reading, cooking, gardening, family history and genealogy, and taking long walks outside in the fresh air. Having been raised in southeast Idaho, then getting the best of Albuquerque, she appreciates the hometown friendly atmosphere here in Cheyenne.
